COUPLES COUNSELLING
Are you confused, exhausted, or maybe even feeling a bit hopeless about your relationship? Couples counselling teaches you how to break the frustrating and relentless cycles that you can sometimes experience in a relationship.
Many complex issues can contribute to communication breakdowns: loss of physical and/or emotional intimacy, jealousy, emotional affairs, infidelity, or power and control issues. These can often lead to a crisis point, where communication becomes increasingly difficult.
Relationship counselling can help you to understand each other’s experience of the issues, and encourage new ways of interacting without blaming each other, or becoming critical or defensive. It can provide an opportunity to resolve past issues, build trust, discover new ways to reconnect, and move towards the life you want together.

SUPERVISION
I offer professional supervision for mental health professionals, social workers and, as a DAPAANZ accredited supervisor, Drug and Alcohol Practitioners. I work with a solution-focused and strength-based approach. Supervision provides a room to reflect on complex work situations, and to develop effective tools. Risk management and safe practice is as important to me as managing a work–life balance, and integrating theory and practice. I aim to empower and support you, so you can develop the skills you need to make the best professional decisions.

Drug and Alcohol Assessments
I am authorised by the Ministry of Health and NZTA to
- conduct Section 65 Assessments
- undertake assesments to remove the restriction on your licence and have your Alcohol Interlock Device removed.
